Wildlife Friendlier Fence – Volunteer Day

June 17 @ 8:00 am - 3:30 pm

Calpet, Big Piney

This stretch of fence impacts access to important winter range for Mule deer. These areas provide crucial access to exposed forage, such as grasses and sagebrush, thermal cover from cold winds, and quiet environments that help wildlife conserve energy through the winter months. Removing fencing in these areas supports healthy winter range habitat and helps prevent wildlife entanglement.

Help reduce barriers to wildlife movement and migration by removing obsolete fences or making wildlife-friendly modifications to existing fence with volunteers and staff from the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation. Full or Half Day Projects Available + No prior experience needed.
