SUMMARY:Seed Collection at Crystal Lite
DESCRIPTION:Come join us at Crystal Lite to collect seeds from native plant species and help preserve and restore the landscape around the trail. The goal is to collect seeds that can be replanted to help native plants become established in areas previously affected by invasive species such as Musk Thistle\, Houndstongue\, Knapweed\, and others. \nVolunteers will learn to identify native species\, help collect ripe seeds\, and gain hands-on experience with how seed collection can support habitat restoration. \nPlay a role in restoring our landscape and replenishing native plant populations that provide important habitat and food for wildlife. Spend a fun morning outside in the mountains while helping support future restoration efforts! No experience is needed\, and all ages are welcome. This is a half-day project. \nREGISTRATION REQUIRED
